Porto Rafti is an all-year-round destination in Attica, favored especially during holidays and weekends. While not yet widely known to international tourists, it holds a rich history with evidence of habitation dating back to ancient Greek and Roman times. Its location near the international airport makes it an ideal base for exploring Athens or the Greek islands, while also offering a relaxing seaside stay with charming small beaches and tavernas serving delicious fresh seafood.

You can get a taste of the local lifestyle by visiting the weekly farmers' market, the nostalgic summer open-air cinemas, traditional Orthodox churches, and nearby archaeological sites like Vravrona, Lavrion, and Cape Sounion.

There are plenty of activities to enjoy: scuba diving, stand-up paddleboarding, sailing, mountain biking, or simply swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the gulf. Leisurely walks along the long seaside promenade are also highly recommended.
